Ana Ularu began acting at 9 in French productions such as Meurtres par procuration and Passion Mortelle. She holds a B.A. and M.F.A. in Acting from UNATC Bucharest and has appeared in over 60 films and series, including Subteran (Netflix), Emerald City (NBC), and Spy/Master (HBO). She has worked with Romanian New Wave directors like Călin Peter Netzer, Cristian Mungiu, and Radu Muntean, as well as Oscar winners Francis Ford Coppola, Susanne Bier, and Ron Howard. For Outbound (2010), she won Best Actress awards in Locarno, Thessaloniki, and Novi Sad. She currently appears in major streaming series and performs on stage in Bucharest.
